Welcome to our Second BALC 2016 Blog Hop....Here I am proud to present to you a work in progress of my emerging Line of Jewelry.
B'Sue Boutiques is our sponsor for this Challenge and the lovely owner Brenda Sue Lansdowne is our Teacher and Mentor.
I am a very happy customer of B'Sue Boutiques and I always use her products in My Designs.
Please stop by and browse at www.bsueboutiques.com where you'll find THE BEST STUFF!!!
I have chosen my components wisely and Colorized the ones that needed it....here are some of the pictures of my work in progress
I have had so many ideas spinning around in my head. So I've been just "going for it" and using my favourite techniques on my chosen pieces in Raw Brass which I intend to team with the wonderful plating finishes on B'sue's Stampings and embellishments.
So far I can reveal my two finished pieces for your viewing pleasure. ...I have a pair of "Surf Sandals" as pictured to your left and Below
By now you may have guessed the name of my Line or maybe not...to tell the truth I am still tweaking it .....I'm thinking maybe QUEENS of the SEA ?
I guess that will depend on the rest of my line....so far my Surf Sandals feature a crown connector and my mermaid wears a crown...so we shall see what evolves!!!
Thanks so much for visiting me at my Blog and I would also encourage you to visit all my friends and class mates when you finish reading mine...there are some great reads there too!!

ReplyDeleteLovely finished pieces and intriguing work in progress.
ReplyDeleteThe surf sandals using the bracelet top connector is genius! You could go with that as a line all by itself and individualize it with color and small cameos or brass motifs. Well done, Lyn......and we will anxiously await your final post and see where you have gone with your ideas.

ReplyDeleteLyn, I love that you are "going for it." That cuff is so nautical that i wondered if I put my ear up to it would I actually hear the ocean. Just keep on keeping on!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, your "line to be" looks very interesting and I am really curious on how your surf sandals can be worn...do they count as shoes? I've always wondered, especially since so many store have the no shirt, no shoes, no service policy. I hate wearing shoes in general, so except for winter, where I will wear socks and boots when necessary here in MI, but when summer hits, its no shoes/barefoot time for me or at the most flip flops, but if these could replace the flip flops, I'm all over them, lol. Can't wait to see the rest of your line.
ReplyDeleteLoving those surf sandals.
ReplyDeleteMany of my friends love the beach, and it is their go to place when they want to relax mentally. When I looked at your cuff, I felt as though I was at the beach for a moment. Well done!
